How do I delete my SelectedTests account for good?

There may come a time when you want to erase your SelectedTests account and the personal data attached to it for good.

Before you do, keep in mind that deleting your account is a separate thing from cancelling your subscription.

  • If all you want is to stop the billing or pause your membership, head to the How do I cancel my subscription or trial? guide instead.
  • If you want every bit of your account data wiped permanently, use the steps below to file a Deletion Request under privacy laws like the GDPR (“Right to Be Forgotten”).

Important things to know before you request deletion

  • Permanent action: Once it’s gone, your account and data can’t be brought back.

  • Verification required: To keep your data safe, we check every deletion request to make sure it really comes from the account owner. This guards against identity misuse and protects your privacy before anything is erased.

  • Limited retention: Now and then the law requires us to hold on to certain records (payment or tax information, for instance).

  • Processing time: We usually complete account deletion requests within 30 days of confirming your identity.

How to request account deletion

  1. Send your request through our secure form, linked here:

    Submit A Request

  2. Pick the "Deletion Request" category and enter the details we ask for:

  3. Check the box that says “I confirm I want to delete my account”.

You can’t submit the form without it, and ticking it confirms you understand the deletion is permanent and can’t be undone.

  4. Fill in the required fields and send the request from the same email address tied to your SelectedTests account.

  5. Once the form is in:

    • A confirmation email will arrive with the subject
“SelectedTests: Your Account Deletion Request Has Been Received.”
    • Follow that email’s steps to verify your identity. We’ll ask you to reply with:
      • A government-issued photo ID (feel free to black out anything unrelated).
      • Proof of address (for example, a utility bill or bank statement from the past 3 months).
    • After verification, our team erases your account for good in line with privacy laws and emails you once it’s done.
